I have produced an “empty book” where the front and back covers share the same pho- tograph from Reuters used to report on two different earthquakes that took place in two different countries at two different times.
(Front cover: Photo taken from Reuters coverage of October 2013 Bohol earthquake in Bohol, Philippines / Back cover: Same Reuters photograph used by Thairath daily news in Bangkok,Thailand to report on the May 2014 earthquake in Chiang Rai,Thailand).

For this onestar press edition I have inserted a pounded gold leaf that was produced in Bangkok,Thailand. It is equal in value to the book’s production cost to print and bind in Orthez, France.The gold leaf and this book share the same value even if created from two very different points of departure.
